He basically tries to beat Michelle Malkin with a pseudo-journalistic baseball bat in a cage-match talk session she can’t win. Not only is he heavy on the ad hominem, but he hasn’t even read the material being discussed. Talk about partisan idiocy. How can you have a fair talk about a subject you haven’t even researched?

Well, guess what? This foaming jerk Matthews, who called me irresponsible and kicked me off the show admitted that a) he himself had not read the damned book, b) he was not interested in asking Kerry about the specific doubts raised by vets about his wounds, and c) he had not and would not question Kerry about these specific allegations.
Just remember that TV is a less honest news medium (in general) because it’s much harder for opposing viewpoints to get airtime. In print, one has an easier recourse to respond. Now, we have weblogging, which is something of an equalizer. We can post our thoughts on anything, and nearly anyone can get a weblog. This explains many journalistic types refusal to acknowledge the value of weblogging, and their fear of it.
