The Untergeek is more commonly known as Aaron Mildenstein. Others may post from time to time, but largely this is his blog. Look for his name at the end of each post to be sure.

The Untergeek resides in Orem, Utah, with his wife and six children. The Untergeek and his Unter-Wife educate their children at home.

The Untergeek works for a large web-hosting company as a UNIX Systems Administrator. For desktop systems he prefers Mac OS X, end of story. On the server side he prefers FreeBSD to Solaris, Solaris to Linux, and Linux to Windows. The Untergeek has administered them all, and then some.

Where does the Untergeek find himself on “the issues?” The Untergeek is pro-Second Ammendment, pro-Education Choice (including home schooling) and considers himself to be fairly conservative, but with some Libertarian leanings.
